The Jewish Genealogy Club meets the last Wednesday of each month from 10:30 - 12:00 at the temple. Our aim is to inspire and help one another learn about our family histories. Just hearing each other’s stories is fascinating. We’re trying to locate the places our ancestors came from and searching for these places on both old and current maps. Those who have laptops bring them so we can do research together, show each other new or different websites, as well as help each other solve our brick walls. In mid-July, four of us are going to the International Jewish Genealogy Conference in L.A. There will be lots to discuss and report after that. Please call or email Carol Stern to make sure we are meeting in the summer months. Carol Stern, 528-6557, carolstanleyosos@charter.net
