Because of the stellar applicants this year, the Social Action Scholarship Committee will award not one, but two Social Action Scholarships.
Joanne Crandall from Arroyo Grande High and Emma Phillips from San Luis Obispo High will join us at Shabbat Services on Friday, May 24th – please join us to meet these fine young women.

We will be serving an ice cream social to our guests and will need enthusiastic volunteers to scoop ice cream, prepare root beer floats, and many other tasks. Watch your email for a sign-up link.

CBD Scrip is an effortless way to support CBD and involves programs that are easy to use and require no more than your usual grocery shopping. The stores you shop at will donate a portion of your purchases. For example, Ralphs will donate between 1-4 % of your qualifying purchases. It's that simple!
Our goal is to have 100% of CBD members signed up for Scrip and we’re willing to help you with the sign-up if needed. Vons, Ralphs, and Spencer’s are participating supermarkets at this time. Vons and Ralphs require members to reenroll each year in order for CBD to continue to receive contributions.
The Vons eScrip program applies to all Vons and Safeway stores throughout the state, as well as selected restaurants and businesses throughout the state that participate in the eScrip program.
