Congregation Beth David is a Reform Jewish Congregation which seeks to provide an environment where a wide range of Jews will feel welcome and comfortable and be active in their practice of Judaism.
Our religious and educational programs and social activities for all ages and backgrounds encourage members to integrate Jewish values into their everyday life. In so doing, our members foster Judaism in San Luis Obispo County, help our children develop stronger Jewish identities, and nurture spirituality within and beyond the Jewish community.

Reaching for the Fruit: Again A presentation and discussion with Heather Mendel Congregation Beth David This Wednesday, February 3 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM
Dancing In The Footsteps of Eve is a multi-layered odyssey of transition that moves to a feminine beat. It is based on the mystical Four Worlds of Kabbalah— Intuition, Thought, Emotion and Action, accessed by the archetypal Mystic, Student, Dreamer and Humanitarian within. Their interaction reveals an evolving image of Divinity, constantly present and continually changing, as ancient as Judaism and contemporary as the moment. In a quantum era of multiple possibilities, Heather Mendel offers a timely image of God that speaks to the transformation potential of the present moment. As “children of Israel,” with Eve as our guide, we reach for the radiance of the “promised land”— our own spiritual maturity. Are you ready to join the dance?
